Motor Head
*Limit switch:
Regulates the number of turns of the motorised tube. Allowing the motor to stop accurately at its upper and lower limits.
Limits are adjusted via the allen key adjusters located on the motor
head.

Motor Assembly

* Motor & capacitor:

Asynchronous single phase AC motor, with built-in capacitor and thermal protection.

* Brake:


Reliable solenoid activated disc brake. Holds the weight of the product when not in use. Stops the motorised tube accurately when limit switch engages.

*Gear box:


Planetary gear box, reduces the high speed motor down to a steady speed and increases the motor turning force. Lubricated for a life time of use.

Output Shaft


A drive wheel is attached to 10mm steel output shaft. Allowing motorisation of many different tube sizes and types. At this point all the motors turning force is acted on the roller tube.
